The Disability Company Accessible Experience Phillip Island

The Disability Company Accessible Experiences has three fantastic locations with an array of activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay.

Accommodation

The Ranch offers amazing on-site facilities such as a fire pit, trampoline, ball games and cinema! Day activities include the chocolate factory, A Maze’ N Things, the penguin parade and the animal wildlife park. Afterwards, watch a movie, join in on our disco night, or marshmallow roasting.

The Resort Lodge is a scenic stay with lots of room for you to have a room all to yourself. All of the rooms are wheelchair accessible and the front pathway from the car park has a separate entrance for wheelchair users. There is also a two-step foot entrance for independent/assisted walkers. The whole premise is flat, including the lawns and shared communal areas making it easy to get around the grounds.

Island Bay Ranch offers an extensive number of awesome on-site facilities such as a huge lawn and barbeque area, fire pit, inground trampoline and playground, table tennis, basketball and tennis court, and cinema area… just to name a few!

Activities

The day activities will be tailored to the client’s preferences.
Some examples of day activities but are not limited to;

• A yummy visit to the chocolate factory
• An exciting experience at A Maze’ N Things
• Watching the penguin parade at the beach
• Having a virtual reality experience through Antarctica (cool!)
• Petting the cute koalas and kangaroos at Maru Koala and Animal Park
• Winning a game at Grumpy’s mini golf

After doing your chosen day activities, wind down by watching your favourite movie on Foxtel or join in on our disco night, marshmallow roasting, cupcake decorating and ball activities on the luscious green grass at the ranch.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to change your booking, you may do so 5 clear business days prior to the start of your booking without incurring any cost, as outlined in the NDIS Price Guide.

If you wish to make a change within the 5 business day threshold, but more than 48 hours before your scheduled arrival, your account will be credited the full amount and you may rebook within three months of your original stay dates.

If you wish to change your booking within 48 hours of your arrival time, your account will be credited with the cost of your stay less the cost of paying the Support Workers for any shifts that fall within that 48-hour threshold, as we have an obligation to ensure our Support Workers are paid for any shifts that are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
